Rhino Stock Length Gorilla Duty Axles
Strong replacement axles
It's common knowledge that OEM parts were made to be just strong enough to get the job done. That's why Gorilla Axles have created a super strong, Gorilla Duty CV Axle to pick up were the Side x Side manufacturers left off. Along with being much stronger than their OEM counterparts, these Gorilla Duty Axles can take up to 40 degrees of angle making them perfect for the UTV rider looking to install a lift or oversized tires on their Yamaha Rhino. Usually after a lift is installed, the stock axles are not up to the task of handling the extra angle which in time causes them to weaken and break. This leaves the rider stranded or embarrassed (in most cases.) To handle the extreme angle caused by lifts, the Gorilla Axles have a unique design on the upper cv joint allowing them to articulate especially well compared to stock CV shafts. However, being able to work at high angles is just half of the special features the Gorilla Axles offer. In order to stand up to the extreme stress of high horsepower motors and super aggressive oversized tires, the axles must be built strong enough to withstand these demands time after time without breaking a sweat. The axles start off being made of 4340 Chromoly steel, one of the industries strongest steels readily available and then machined to a precise fit for the given application. They are then heat treated, then cryogenically treated again to ensure their absolute strength and durability. The Gorilla Duty Axles are then assembled to fit the particular UTV needed with little or no modifications needed. Covering the cv joints are heavy duty Neoprene Boots filled with marine-grade grease to make sure the axles keep running as smoothly as when they were assembled even in the harshest riding conditions. These axles will work with 2004-2008 Rhino 450 & 660
